Things

Why Things?

In South Africa solar has become commonplace and everyone is rushing to install the latest high tech systems to supply power to their homes and businesses.

For a standard three bedroom home in a normal suburb in our country it will cost about R45,000 to R245,000 depending on the setup you choose.

Therefore, we at Solar Things see the need to help people to "get there" in little increments via useful machines run on solar power. We also want to be able to help you build a solar system, one-brick-at-a-time, like Lego, as you can afford it.

The more electrical appliances you own that can run on solar, the better it will be for you and the earth. The premise is that if you have a power outage from Eskom you will be better equipped to proceed with your daily routine and not be slave to outages.

So many of us run home businesses today and more will follow as time progresses, whether you need to have a little machine running to produce items you may be manufacturing from home or a computer or other vital tools, you would be much better positioned to carry on making money if you were somewhat independent of Eskom.

The "Things" that are listed below are a start at offering you alternatives to 220v appliances. Browse these items, not as if they were a luxury or a gimmick but as the truly are, a part of your future independence.

We will add to the many Things asap.
